Originally from Cádiz, Algeciras (Spain), Wendy has been interested in the world of the arts since childhood. However, it wasn't until her twenties that she decided to embark on her own path toward acting. With the support of her family, she decided to study Dramatic Arts in Málaga, at the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático (ESAD).

Her training took place between Málaga and Madrid.

In Madrid, she trained at "Central de Cine," with teachers such as Eva Lesmes, Natalia Mateo, Carles Vila, and others, further expanding her studies with acting coaches like Paco Montes, Fernando Piernas, Javi Luna, Carmen Utrilla, and participating in various camera courses at schools like "Centro del Actor," where Miguel Bardem was a mentor, among others. She was also inspired by the methodology of Bernard Hiller (from Los Angeles).

Wendy has an extensive career in theater, film, and television, where she has had the chance to experience the stage firsthand.

"You learn by doing. My key is in training. Being an actress helps me be a better person, delving into the skin of each character helps me see the world from a different perspective." (Wendy Gara)

She is currently continuing her training with Javier Luna and exploring new interpretive methods, such as handling weapons and action tactics with Chema García.

Among her skills are horse riding, singing, playing the ukulele, and extreme sports: boxing, tandem skydiving, canyoning, scuba diving...

Her eagerness to acquire new knowledge has led her to move to Dublin, where she currently resides and is currently continuing her training in various film courses as Tom Kibbe (Meisner disciple) and William Morgan.

Natural de Cádiz, Algeciras (España) desde pequeña se interesa por el mundo de las artes pero no es hasta sus veinte años cuando decide iniciar su propio camino hacia la interpretación y apoyada por su familia decide estudiar Arte Drámatico en Málaga, en la Escuela Superior de Arte Drámatico (ESAD).

Su formación se contempla entre Málaga y Madrid.

En Madrid se ha formado en "Central de Cine", con profesores como Eva Lesmes, Natalia Mateo, Carles Vila entre otros, ampliando sus estudios en entrenamientos actorales con Paco Montes, Fernando Piernas, Javi Luna, Carmen Utrilla y en diferentes cursos de cámara en diversas escuelas como en "Centro del Actor" con Miguel Bardem como mentor entre otros e inspirada por la metodología de Bernard Hiller (procedente de "Los Ángeles").

Wendy tiene una amplia trayectoria en teatro, cine y televisión, dónde ha podido experimentar las tablas como tal.

"Se aprende haciendo. Mi clave está en el entrenamiento. Ser actriz me ayuda a ser mejor persona, indagar en la piel de cada personaje me ayuda a ver el mundo desde otra perspectiva".  (Wendy Gara)

Actualmente sigue entrenando con Javier Luna y ampliando nuevos métodos interpretativos, cómo el manejo de armas y las tácticas de acción con Chema García.

Entre sus habilidades destacan montar a caballo, cantar, tocar el ukelele y los deportes de riesgos: boxeo, salto tándem, barranquismo, submarinismo...

Actualmente, su inquietud por adquirir nuevos aprendizajes, la ha llevado a mudarse a Dublín, dónde reside a día de hoy y sigue entrenando con diferentes directores de cine. Entre ellos destacan Tom Kibbe (discípulo de Meisner) y William Morgan.
